Swinburne Christian Union ( CU)

Swinburne University is located in Hawthorn with many campus buildings along Burwood Road near St Columb's Anglican Church. St Columb's has had a close relationship with the Christian group, Swinburne Christian Union (CU) for several years, supporting them financially and now providing meeting and office space while their original building on campus is currently being demolished.

Nat Clarke has been the Senior AFES staffworker at Swinburne for five years and was joined by Lachie Outhred as a Ministry Apprentice over two years ago. St Columb's vicar, Mike Flynn, has been involved on campus running some of the regular Wednesday lunchtime sessions.

The Christian Union runs International Nights for international students wanting to learn about Jesus on Thursday evenings at the large hall at St Columb's. Dinner is served at 6.30pm.
