Sunday Twilight is a suite of offerings promoting connection for all kinds of people, from across Hawthorn and beyond. A place to experience community, enjoy rest, recreation and storytelling, as well as a gentle invitation to consider from the Christian tradition. 

Dinner at the Globe

Roam foreign lands with your knife and fork without leaving the city! Enjoy cuisine from a different country each month. Sit down at the long table to savour a 3-course meal with friendly fellow travellers, to a backdrop of music and film footage curated to assuage your wanderlust through eyes and ears. $15 per person. Families $30 (capped).

Vinyl Delights

Calling all music lovers - chill out to the love of sound! Bring your vinyl and drink of choice. Each month a different guest curator shares two songs they love, and speaks to the personal meanings these hold. All welcome, whether you own vinyl or not. Snacks provided. $2 donation on entry. 

Rest

Take a lie down – literally. Enter into a story of Jesus from the gospels, via the imagination through a guided meditative reading, while you recline or adopt whatever posture your body needs. Held in the large hall with plenty of carpeted space. Bring your own yoga mat if desired. Plenty of seats available, loose clothing recommended. Herbal teas provided. $2 donation on entry. 

The Aslan Games

From the creative and brilliant mind of philosopher and writer C.S. Lewis comes an offering for all ages. Readings from the Narnia Chronicles are paired with a range of games and activities to explore Lewis’ imaginative reframing of the Christian story — interactive session including art making, games and lots of fun for the family.
